Do you believe in God?

No. I was brought up in the methodist church where questions were encouraged and perhaps this freedom alowed me to make my own conclusions about my life and why we are here. My parents are also very open minded. But anyway. I just don't think there can be a god in this world who would just completely abandon this world to what it has become. Another reason that I have turned my back on religion is because of all the power the church holds in this world today. The church dictates what people do and why they do it; there are frivolous rules that must be followed for you to be a "true" christian. The church just has too much power. I have not explored many other religions yet, but if I ever do, I still don't think I could put my faith in any sort of God.
